PBIS Classroom Systems
Whole Class Systems
Teacher Vs. ClassTeacher vs. The Class is a great way to get the class to work together. When students listen to the directions quickly and follow expectations, they get a point. If many students are off task, or not following expectations, the teacher gets a point. This should be attached to a weekly prize. For example, a weekly prize could be a free recess on Friday. If the students win, they get the extra recess! This fosters class team work!

Group Based Systems
Team Points/CaptainsTeam points are a great behavior management tool for groups of students. Points can be awarded when students are first to clean up, listen, and finish a task. This pairs well with Team Captains who track the points and encourage their team to stay on track. Team Captains foster leadership skills in your students and teach accountability.

Super Star Punch Cards
Super Star Punch Cards are a great way to reinforce positive behavior in your classroom. If the student is following the expectation, or going above and beyond, they receive a punch. When they fill the card a prize is given. Prizes should be determined with student buy in and voice before this system is started. This can be used as a classroom Tier 1 system or an individual behavior support. Click here for more information and printable copies! Click here for a variety of choices for punch cards! |
