Ways to Boost Mental Health

1. Meditate Daily (1-30 minutes) 
Try a Youtube video or guided meditation to bring calmness daily. If you are new to meditation start off for a short amount of time. Then increase your time as it feels more comfortable. 
2. Spend More Time in Nature
Studies has shown that being in nature and looking at pictures of nature can reduce anger, anxiety and stress. Spending time in nature can have great physical health benefits such as reduced blood pressure, heart rate and muscle tension. 
3. Exercise Daily 
Exercising can increase mood, and energy levels.
"Exercise increases heart rate, which pumps more oxygen to the brain. It aids the release of hormones which provide an excellent environment for the growth of brain cells. Exercise also promotes brain plasticity by stimulating growth of new connections between cells in many important cortical areas of the brain."

Organizing your surroundings can improve mental health. When your environment is organized, your mind has a better chance of being clearer and feeling at peace.
